Umberto Guareschi (Parma, 1979) graduated from University of Parma in 2006 (final job: "Medina of Azemmour. Survey Analysis, Restoration project of Place Moulnis-Morocco").
After a first experience at Grid2 in New York, and Canali Associati in Parma, he collaborates with architect Leif Jorgensen in Copenhagen since 2007.
He founds StudioAfa in 2009.
